Foxy was cared for at the Michael Sobell Hospice where he died of lung cancer in October 2007.

Benefit shows and a tribute CD to raise money for the Michael Sobell House Charity have been organized in Paul's memory.

THE CHARITY: CASA ALIANZA-Separated from their families many street children end up sleeping rough in darkened alleys, frozen shop doorways, underground water systems and on rubbish dumps. They are often numb with cold, terrified - some will be beaten, abused and killed. For many street children each day is just another day to endure and survive. That is ... unless they come to Casa Alianza. Casa Alianza has developed a five stage core programme that starts on the streets and ends in kids having a home and hope for the future. We start with street outreach and pre-community work with homeless children and young people and then offer access to crisis centres, transition homes and finally group homes. We currently work with over 10,000 children each year and have over 2,000 children in our residential care programmes. When Squeeze tour the UK this autumn they will be debuting a clutch of new songs, the first new material from the band in 14 years. Lead track 'Tommy' once again sees Squeeze on fine form and reaffirms the genius of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook's writing partnership. Tommy will be available digitally as a free download via Squeeze's website from December 10th and prior to that as a live recording on at their Pop Up Shop tour. The winning formula of Chris' lyrics combined with Glenn's melodies and production is evident on 'Tommy'. Chris says: "It's taken a long time to get ourselves back to the writing table, mainly because we've been touring in the UK and in the States. I have been writing lyrics and then sending them over to Glenn who puts the music to them and adds additional lyrics and ideas." Glenn adds: "When recording the track we were working on changes to the song and sitting down together discussing where the changes should be made and were in complete agreement about them which is something new for our relationship." 'Tommy', along with other brand new tracks, will be made available to the fans as part of the 'Live Package' of recordings when Squeeze hit the road with their 'Pop Up Shop' tour in November and December. At the end of each of the 22 nights of the tour Glenn and Chris will move from the stage to the Pop Up Shop, performing as they go. Fans will then be able to buy a recording of that night's show which will include performances of the new Squeeze songs as well as an additional CD of studio recordings of the brand new tracks. With fans who still cry out for music in the old fashioned sense - that they can touch, and feel - whilst existing in an industry where the outlets for the physical product are diminishing, Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford will be taking their Pop Up Shop on tour this November and December. Thirty five years after their first record release they are embracing technology to ensure that they remain as relevant and accessible as ever. Nearly 40 years since Squeeze burst onto the music scene, the band are still as vital as they've ever been. Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon and their Artists Against Fracking group have posted a large billboard in New York urging Gov. Andrew Cuomo not to rush a study on the natural gas extraction method known as hydraulic fracturing to meet a November 29th regulatory deadline. The billboard reads "Governor Cuomo: Imagine There’s No Fracking," and is situated on the Major Deegan Expressway, a route oven traveled by Cuomo. By missing the November 29th deadline, New York would be forced to draft new regulations, as well as reopen a window for public comment. "Our message is simple: we want Gov. Cuomo to imagine and guarantee a New York free of the fracking threat to our water, air, beautiful landscapes and climate," Ono tells Rolling Stone. "Every time New Yorkers pass this billboard, we also want them to imagine a truly clean energy future, not fracking."

Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon and their Artists Against Fracking group have posted a large billboard in New York urging Gov. Andrew Cuomo not to rush a study on the natural gas extraction method known as hydraulic fracturing to meet a November 29th regulatory deadline. The billboard reads "Governor Cuomo: Imagine There’s No Fracking," and is situated on the Major Deegan Expressway, a route oven traveled by Cuomo. By missing the November 29th deadline, New York would be forced to draft new regulations, as well as reopen a window for public comment. "Our message is simple: we want Gov. Cuomo to imagine and guarantee a New York free of the fracking threat to our water, air, beautiful landscapes and climate," Ono tells Rolling Stone. "Every time New Yorkers pass this billboard, we also want them to imagine a truly clean energy future, not fracking."

"Fracking for gas is inherently dirty and dangerous," Lennon adds. "Cement and pipes at these great depths are simply not reliable, as the industry's own documents show. Cracks and leaks will inevitably poison wells and aquifers. Rural communities will be turned into industrial brownfields. No amount of regulation can make fracking safe." They are often numb with cold, terrified - some will be beaten, abused and killed. For many street children each day is just another day to endure and survive. That is ... unless they come to Casa Alianza. Casa Alianza has developed a five stage core programme that starts on the streets and ends in kids having a home and hope for the future. We start with street outreach and pre-community work with homeless children and young people and then offer access to crisis centres, transition homes and finally group homes. We currently work with over 10,000 children each year and have over 2,000 children in our residential care programmes. When Squeeze tour the UK this autumn they will be debuting a clutch of new songs, the first new material from the band in 14 years. Lead track 'Tommy' once again sees Squeeze on fine form and reaffirms the genius of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook's writing partnership. Tommy will be available digitally as a free download via Squeeze's website from December 10th and prior to that as a live recording on at their Pop Up Shop tour. The winning formula of Chris' lyrics combined with Glenn's melodies and production is evident on 'Tommy'. Chris says: "It's taken a long time to get ourselves back to the writing table, mainly because we've been touring in the UK and in the States. I have been writing lyrics and then sending them over to Glenn who puts the music to them and adds additional lyrics and ideas." Glenn adds: "When recording the track we were working on changes to the song and sitting down together discussing where the changes should be made and were in complete agreement about them which is something new for our relationship." 'Tommy', along with other brand new tracks, will be made available to the fans as part of the 'Live Package' of recordings when Squeeze hit the road with their 'Pop Up Shop' tour in November and December. At the end of each of the 22 nights of the tour Glenn and Chris will move from the stage to the Pop Up Shop, performing as they go. Fans will then be able to buy a recording of that night's show which will include performances of the new Squeeze songs as well as an additional CD of studio recordings of the brand new tracks. With fans who still cry out for music in the old fashioned sense - that they can touch, and feel - whilst existing in an industry where the outlets for the physical product are diminishing, Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford will be taking their Pop Up Shop on tour this November and December. Thirty five years after their first record release they are embracing technology to ensure that they remain as relevant and accessible as ever. Nearly 40 years since Squeeze burst onto the music scene, the band are still as vital as they've ever been. Foxy was cared for at the Michael Sobell Hospice where he died of lung cancer in October 2007.

THE CHARITY: CASA ALIANZA-Separated from their families many street children end up sleeping rough in darkened alleys, frozen shop doorways, underground water systems and on rubbish dumps. They are often numb with cold, terrified - some will be beaten, abused and killed. For many street children each day is just another day to endure and survive. That is ... unless they come to Casa Alianza. Casa Alianza has developed a five stage core programme that starts on the streets and ends in kids having a home and hope for the future. We start with street outreach and pre-community work with homeless children and young people and then offer access to crisis centres, transition homes and finally group homes. We currently work with over 10,000 children each year and have over 2,000 children in our residential care programmes. When Squeeze tour the UK this autumn they will be debuting a clutch of new songs, the first new material from the band in 14 years. Lead track 'Tommy' once again sees Squeeze on fine form and reaffirms the genius of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook's writing partnership. Tommy will be available digitally as a free download via Squeeze's website from December 10th and prior to that as a live recording on at their Pop Up Shop tour. The winning formula of Chris' lyrics combined with Glenn's melodies and production is evident on 'Tommy'. Chris says: "It's taken a long time to get ourselves back to the writing table, mainly because we've been touring in the UK and in the States. I have been writing lyrics and then sending them over to Glenn who puts the music to them and adds additional lyrics and ideas." Glenn adds: "When recording the track we were working on changes to the song and sitting down together discussing where the changes should be made and were in complete agreement about them which is something new for our relationship." 'Tommy', along with other brand new tracks, will be made available to the fans as part of the 'Live Package' of recordings when Squeeze hit the road with their 'Pop Up Shop' tour in November and December. At the end of each of the 22 nights of the tour Glenn and Chris will move from the stage to the Pop Up Shop, performing as they go. Fans will then be able to buy a recording of that night's show which will include performances of the new Squeeze songs as well as an additional CD of studio recordings of the brand new tracks. With fans who still cry out for music in the old fashioned sense - that they can touch, and feel - whilst existing in an industry where the outlets for the physical product are diminishing, Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford will be taking their Pop Up Shop on tour this November and December. Thirty five years after their first record release they are embracing technology to ensure that they remain as relevant and accessible as ever. Nearly 40 years since Squeeze burst onto the music scene, the band are still as vital as they've ever been. Andrew Cuomo not to rush a study on the natural gas extraction method known as hydraulic fracturing to meet a November 29th regulatory deadline. The billboard reads "Governor Cuomo: Imagine There’s No Fracking," and is situated on the Major Deegan Expressway, a route oven traveled by Cuomo. By missing the November 29th deadline, New York would be forced to draft new regulations, as well as reopen a window for public comment. "Our message is simple: we want Gov. Cuomo to imagine and guarantee a New York free of the fracking threat to our water, air, beautiful landscapes and climate," Ono tells Rolling Stone. "Every time New Yorkers pass this billboard, we also want them to imagine a truly clean energy future, not fracking."

When Squeeze tour the UK this autumn they will be debuting a clutch of new songs, the first new material from the band in 14 years. Lead track 'Tommy' once again sees Squeeze on fine form and reaffirms the genius of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook's writing partnership. Tommy will be available digitally as a free download via Squeeze's website from December 10th and prior to that as a live recording on at their Pop Up Shop tour. The winning formula of Chris' lyrics combined with Glenn's melodies and production is evident on 'Tommy'. Chris says: "It's taken a long time to get ourselves back to the writing table, mainly because we've been touring in the UK and in the States. I have been writing lyrics and then sending them over to Glenn who puts the music to them and adds additional lyrics and ideas." Glenn adds: "When recording the track we were working on changes to the song and sitting down together discussing where the changes should be made and were in complete agreement about them which is something new for our relationship." 'Tommy', along with other brand new tracks, will be made available to the fans as part of the 'Live Package' of recordings when Squeeze hit the road with their 'Pop Up Shop' tour in November and December. At the end of each of the 22 nights of the tour Glenn and Chris will move from the stage to the Pop Up Shop, performing as they go. Fans will then be able to buy a recording of that night's show which will include performances of the new Squeeze songs as well as an additional CD of studio recordings of the brand new tracks. With fans who still cry out for music in the old fashioned sense - that they can touch, and feel - whilst existing in an industry where the outlets for the physical product are diminishing, Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford will be taking their Pop Up Shop on tour this November and December. Thirty five years after their first record release they are embracing technology to ensure that they remain as relevant and accessible as ever. Nearly 40 years since Squeeze burst onto the music scene, the band are still as vital as they've ever been. With their fingerprints keenly felt throughout the fabric of popular music, it is only right that these songs, with their evergreen and popular sound, continue to be played and enjoyed live. Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon and their Artists Against Fracking group have posted a large billboard in New York urging Gov. Andrew Cuomo not to rush a study on the natural gas extraction method known as hydraulic fracturing to meet a November 29th regulatory deadline. The billboard reads "Governor Cuomo: Imagine There’s No Fracking," and is situated on the Major Deegan Expressway, a route oven traveled by Cuomo. By missing the November 29th deadline, New York would be forced to draft new regulations, as well as reopen a window for public comment. "Our message is simple: we want Gov. Cuomo to imagine and guarantee a New York free of the fracking threat to our water, air, beautiful landscapes and climate," Ono tells Rolling Stone. "Every time New Yorkers pass this billboard, we also want them to imagine a truly clean energy future, not fracking."

"Fracking for gas is inherently dirty and dangerous," Lennon adds. "Cement and pipes at these great depths are simply not reliable, as the industry's own documents show. Cracks and leaks will inevitably poison wells and aquifers. Rural communities will be turned into industrial brownfields. No amount of regulation can make fracking safe." They are often numb with cold, terrified - some will be beaten, abused and killed. For many street children each day is just another day to endure and survive. That is ... unless they come to Casa Alianza. Casa Alianza has developed a five stage core programme that starts on the streets and ends in kids having a home and hope for the future. We start with street outreach and pre-community work with homeless children and young people and then offer access to crisis centres, transition homes and finally group homes. We currently work with over 10,000 children each year and have over 2,000 children in our residential care programmes. Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon and their Artists Against Fracking group have posted a large billboard in New York urging Gov. Andrew Cuomo not to rush a study on the natural gas extraction method known as hydraulic fracturing to meet a November 29th regulatory deadline. The billboard reads "Governor Cuomo: Imagine There’s No Fracking," and is situated on the Major Deegan Expressway, a route oven traveled by Cuomo. By missing the November 29th deadline, New York would be forced to draft new regulations, as well as reopen a window for public comment. "Our message is simple: we want Gov. Cuomo to imagine and guarantee a New York free of the fracking threat to our water, air, beautiful landscapes and climate," Ono tells Rolling Stone. That is ... unless they come to Casa Alianza. Casa Alianza has developed a five stage core programme that starts on the streets and ends in kids having a home and hope for the future. When Squeeze tour the UK this autumn they will be debuting a clutch of new songs, the first new material from the band in 14 years. Lead track 'Tommy' once again sees Squeeze on fine form and reaffirms the genius of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook's writing partnership. Tommy will be available digitally as a free download via Squeeze's website from December 10th and prior to that as a live recording on at their Pop Up Shop tour. The winning formula of Chris' lyrics combined with Glenn's melodies and production is evident on 'Tommy'. Chris says: "It's taken a long time to get ourselves back to the writing table, mainly because we've been touring in the UK and in the States. I have been writing lyrics and then sending them over to Glenn who puts the music to them and adds additional lyrics and ideas." Glenn adds: "When recording the track we were working on changes to the song and sitting down together discussing where the changes should be made and were in complete agreement about them which is something new for our relationship." 'Tommy', along with other brand new tracks, will be made available to the fans as part of the 'Live Package' of recordings when Squeeze hit the road with their 'Pop Up Shop' tour in November and December. At the end of each of the 22 nights of the tour Glenn and Chris will move from the stage to the Pop Up Shop, performing as they go. Fans will then be able to buy a recording of that night's show which will include performances of the new Squeeze songs as well as an additional CD of studio recordings of the brand new tracks. With fans who still cry out for music in the old fashioned sense - that they can touch, and feel - whilst existing in an industry where the outlets for the physical product are diminishing, Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford will be taking their Pop Up Shop on tour this November and December. Thirty five years after their first record release they are embracing technology to ensure that they remain as relevant and accessible as ever. When Squeeze tour the UK this autumn they will be debuting a clutch of new songs, the first new material from the band in 14 years. Lead track 'Tommy' once again sees Squeeze on fine form and reaffirms the genius of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook's writing partnership. Tommy will be available digitally as a free download via Squeeze's website from December 10th and prior to that as a live recording on at their Pop Up Shop tour. The winning formula of Chris' lyrics combined with Glenn's melodies and production is evident on 'Tommy'. Chris says: "It's taken a long time to get ourselves back to the writing table, mainly because we've been touring in the UK and in the States. I have been writing lyrics and then sending them over to Glenn who puts the music to them and adds additional lyrics and ideas." Glenn adds: "When recording the track we were working on changes to the song and sitting down together discussing where the changes should be made and were in complete agreement about them which is something new for our relationship." 'Tommy', along with other brand new tracks, will be made available to the fans as part of the 'Live Package' of recordings when Squeeze hit the road with their 'Pop Up Shop' tour in November and December. At the end of each of the 22 nights of the tour Glenn and Chris will move from the stage to the Pop Up Shop, performing as they go. Fans will then be able to buy a recording of that night's show which will include performances of the new Squeeze songs as well as an additional CD of studio recordings of the brand new tracks. With fans who still cry out for music in the old fashioned sense - that they can touch, and feel - whilst existing in an industry where the outlets for the physical product are diminishing, Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford will be taking their Pop Up Shop on tour this November and December. Thirty five years after their first record release they are embracing technology to ensure that they remain as relevant and accessible as ever. Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon and their Artists Against Fracking group have posted a large billboard in New York urging Gov. Andrew Cuomo not to rush a study on the natural gas extraction method known as hydraulic fracturing to meet a November 29th regulatory deadline. The billboard reads "Governor Cuomo: Imagine There’s No Fracking," and is situated on the Major Deegan Expressway, a route oven traveled by Cuomo. By missing the November 29th deadline, New York would be forced to draft new regulations, as well as reopen a window for public comment. "Our message is simple: we want Gov. Cuomo to imagine and guarantee a New York free of the fracking threat to our water, air, beautiful landscapes and climate," Ono tells Rolling Stone. "Every time New Yorkers pass this billboard, we also want them to imagine a truly clean energy future, not fracking."

Foxy was cared for at the Michael Sobell Hospice where he died of lung cancer in October 2007.

THE CHARITY: CASA ALIANZA-Separated from their families many street children end up sleeping rough in darkened alleys, frozen shop doorways, underground water systems and on rubbish dumps. They are often numb with cold, terrified - some will be beaten, abused and killed. For many street children each day is just another day to endure and survive. That is ... unless they come to Casa Alianza. Casa Alianza has developed a five stage core programme that starts on the streets and ends in kids having a home and hope for the future. We start with street outreach and pre-community work with homeless children and young people and then offer access to crisis centres, transition homes and finally group homes. We currently work with over 10,000 children each year and have over 2,000 children in our residential care programmes. THE BANDS ADDICTIVE PHILOSOPHY:- play a range of original music from mellow rocksteady to full throttle thrash, but mainly levelling out in the Ska/Punk area - think Rancid, Specials, Inner Terrestrials and Crass, but as far and wide as The Paragons to Discharge. They are often numb with cold, terrified - some will be beaten, abused and killed. For many street children each day is just another day to endure and survive. That is ... unless they come to Casa Alianza. Casa Alianza has developed a five stage core programme that starts on the streets and ends in kids having a home and hope for the future. We start with street outreach and pre-community work with homeless children and young people and then offer access to crisis centres, transition homes and finally group homes. When Squeeze tour the UK this autumn they will be debuting a clutch of new songs, the first new material from the band in 14 years. Lead track 'Tommy' once again sees Squeeze on fine form and reaffirms the genius of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook's writing partnership. Tommy will be available digitally as a free download via Squeeze's website from December 10th and prior to that as a live recording on at their Pop Up Shop tour. The winning formula of Chris' lyrics combined with Glenn's melodies and production is evident on 'Tommy'. Chris says: "It's taken a long time to get ourselves back to the writing table, mainly because we've been touring in the UK and in the States. I have been writing lyrics and then sending them over to Glenn who puts the music to them and adds additional lyrics and ideas." Glenn adds: "When recording the track we were working on changes to the song and sitting down together discussing where the changes should be made and were in complete agreement about them which is something new for our relationship." 'Tommy', along with other brand new tracks, will be made available to the fans as part of the 'Live Package' of recordings when Squeeze hit the road with their 'Pop Up Shop' tour in November and December. At the end of each of the 22 nights of the tour Glenn and Chris will move from the stage to the Pop Up Shop, performing as they go. Fans will then be able to buy a recording of that night's show which will include performances of the new Squeeze songs as well as an additional CD of studio recordings of the brand new tracks. With fans who still cry out for music in the old fashioned sense - that they can touch, and feel - whilst existing in an industry where the outlets for the physical product are diminishing, Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford will be taking their Pop Up Shop on tour this November and December. Thirty five years after their first record release they are embracing technology to ensure that they remain as relevant and accessible as ever. Nearly 40 years since Squeeze burst onto the music scene, the band are still as vital as they've ever been. Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon and their Artists Against Fracking group have posted a large billboard in New York urging Gov. Andrew Cuomo not to rush a study on the natural gas extraction method known as hydraulic fracturing to meet a November 29th regulatory deadline. The billboard reads "Governor Cuomo: Imagine There’s No Fracking," and is situated on the Major Deegan Expressway, a route oven traveled by Cuomo. By missing the November 29th deadline, New York would be forced to draft new regulations, as well as reopen a window for public comment. "Our message is simple: we want Gov. Cuomo to imagine and guarantee a New York free of the fracking threat to our water, air, beautiful landscapes and climate," Ono tells Rolling Stone. "Every time New Yorkers pass this billboard, we also want them to imagine a truly clean energy future, not fracking."

"Fracking for gas is inherently dirty and dangerous," Lennon adds. "Cement and pipes at these great depths are simply not reliable, as the industry's own documents show. When Squeeze tour the UK this autumn they will be debuting a clutch of new songs, the first new material from the band in 14 years. Lead track 'Tommy' once again sees Squeeze on fine form and reaffirms the genius of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook's writing partnership. Tommy will be available digitally as a free download via Squeeze's website from December 10th and prior to that as a live recording on at their Pop Up Shop tour. The winning formula of Chris' lyrics combined with Glenn's melodies and production is evident on 'Tommy'. Chris says: "It's taken a long time to get ourselves back to the writing table, mainly because we've been touring in the UK and in the States. I have been writing lyrics and then sending them over to Glenn who puts the music to them and adds additional lyrics and ideas." Glenn adds: "When recording the track we were working on changes to the song and sitting down together discussing where the changes should be made and were in complete agreement about them which is something new for our relationship." 'Tommy', along with other brand new tracks, will be made available to the fans as part of the 'Live Package' of recordings when Squeeze hit the road with their 'Pop Up Shop' tour in November and December. At the end of each of the 22 nights of the tour Glenn and Chris will move from the stage to the Pop Up Shop, performing as they go. Fans will then be able to buy a recording of that night's show which will include performances of the new Squeeze songs as well as an additional CD of studio recordings of the brand new tracks. With fans who still cry out for music in the old fashioned sense - that they can touch, and feel - whilst existing in an industry where the outlets for the physical product are diminishing, Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford will be taking their Pop Up Shop on tour this November and December. Thirty five years after their first record release they are embracing technology to ensure that they remain as relevant and accessible as ever. Nearly 40 years since Squeeze burst onto the music scene, the band are still as vital as they've ever been. With their fingerprints keenly felt throughout the fabric of popular music, it is only right that these songs, with their evergreen and popular sound, continue to be played and enjoyed live. Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon and their Artists Against Fracking group have posted a large billboard in New York urging Gov. Andrew Cuomo not to rush a study on the natural gas extraction method known as hydraulic fracturing to meet a November 29th regulatory deadline. The billboard reads "Governor Cuomo: Imagine There’s No Fracking," and is situated on the Major Deegan Expressway, a route oven traveled by Cuomo. By missing the November 29th deadline, New York would be forced to draft new regulations, as well as reopen a window for public comment. "Our message is simple: we want Gov. Cuomo to imagine and guarantee a New York free of the fracking threat to our water, air, beautiful landscapes and climate," Ono tells Rolling Stone. "Every time New Yorkers pass this billboard, we also want them to imagine a truly clean energy future, not fracking."

"Fracking for gas is inherently dirty and dangerous," Lennon adds. "Cement and pipes at these great depths are simply not reliable, as the industry's own documents show. Cracks and leaks will inevitably poison wells and aquifers. Rural communities will be turned into industrial brownfields. No amount of regulation can make fracking safe." Artists Against Fracking have called for a meeting with Cuomo to discuss the consequences of fracking, but have yet to receive a response. "New York can create far more jobs, and create and save far more energy than fracking will ever produce by insulating all buildings, replacing all windows, and greatly expanding clean, renewable energy," Ono and Lennon wrote last month.
