SOAS Stop AIDS, Students for Sensible Drug Policy and First Aid societies have come together to bring you a party with the Sex Drugs & HIV band; Rock’n’Roll Gypsies to commemorate World AIDS Day and remember all who we have lost.

The Sex Drugs & HIV album was 15 years in making involves over 200 musicians from name bands. It is a double CD of 40 songs which also come with a DVD of all the tracks. The album is to support 4 main charitys; Terrence Higgins Trust, Rape Crisis, Release, Cancer Research and will be soon released.

Rock’n’Roll Gypsies are a collection of musicians from various different bands including; Sham 69, The Cure, Splodge, Angelic Upstarts, The Godfathers, Chelsea, who have all played on the HIV album, playing a mixture of many different styles including rock, reggae, punk, new wave, heavy metal, country, ska.

Supporting the HIV band are The Duel, a punk band lead by energetic frontgirl Tara Rez who also guests on the Sex Drugs & HIV album.

So let’s all come together, united, to have our bellies rumbled and our bones shaken by some toe-tapping, foot-stomping, head-banging, rock n’ f’n roll, reach out and support what is, frankly, a fantastic cause !
