It was about a year ago that we sent an SOS press alert to all that we knew as a few of us tried to salvage a festival that had suddenly had to close due to shortage of money, even though there were many unhappy punters there.
DIY Together was the very special but last minute rescue operation that was put together that ended up being one of the most amazing weekends people had experienced.
Many say it will go down in Punk Rock history, likening the vibe and spirit similar to the one at the Roxy back in 77 when punk rock was born.
So due to popular demand a charity weekend festival to mark the anniversary of the mess up that was Punk by the Sea, and the triumph of the ensuing D.I.Y Together event, where a few peoples hard work and the spirit of punk rock saw an event rise like a pheonix from the flames and make history in a small Pompey pub.

This will be in aid of local cancer charity, Rowans Hospice. Music will be acoustic, (or almost acoustic) in the front bar , and full on in the Barn.
All bands are volunteering their services, so we can give the maximum amount to charity, and still charge a reasonable amount for entry.
This will run Sat 12pm-1am, and Sun 12pm-11pm
£10 for the whole weekend.
