BUY VASOTEC OVER THE COUNTER, Former Boys Bassist/singer Duncan Reid unleashes his debut solo effort and its a classic from the opening bars of " The One" to the last cry of "Rolling On" this fits into the powerpop stylings of late 70's through to the 80's think The Plimsouls,The Three O'clock Americana and you get the drift.

Produced by Tony Barber in a shed apart from Vom Ritchie's drum parts and big shout out to James Stevenson guitar featured in a couple of numbers. I was fortunate enough to play as an opening act at his recent gig at The Buffalo Bar under The Famous Cock Pub in Islington, after VASOTEC, VASOTEC gel, ointment, cream, pill, spray, continuous-release, extended-release,   and l have to say Duncan Reid and his band of stalwarts are a force to be reckoned with and if the next album includes this bunch of players then who knows where this will go.

This is a thoughtful opus and you need this in your collection as a famous Scottish Poet may have said "Aye Duncan Reid, "Cannae git im oot ma Heid".
