Britain’s most ferociously imaginative punks THE DUEL unleash another blaze of their pungently inspiring and feistily challenging rock ‘n’ roll in an intensive three day explosion across this coming weekend. The London quintet are taking their unique and boundary pushing punk rock veined with melodic temptations and irresistibly barbed hooks aligned to aggressive antagonism, to a trio of shows which will go down loud and proud in local and probably punk history.

Starting this Friday, November 22nd,The Duel headline the PUNK FOR MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT charity gig at Ryan’s Bar, Stoke Newington. The event is set to ignite the senses with some of the best emerging punk bands around to support the band and night;, the inciting rigorous sounds of Portsmouth’s BLACK ANCHOR and the thrilling unbridled garage rock of SWEET JONNY sure to have the walls crumbling and the individual creative infectiousness of SARAH PINK, HARRISON WILDE, and JON LAMB tantalising the passions. With guest DJs and an auction of singles, T-shirts, and other rare punk memorabilia, the night is destined to be a major success musically and in raising support for a wonderful cause, all profits on the night going to Macmillan Cancer Support.

With The Duel nearing the release of their new album “Waging War”, all three events are a short cut to hearing some of the band’s stunning new songs alongside the creative adventures brought by all the other great bands involved. An invitation which alongside a great cause the first show, and an eclectic rage of musical originality and devilry across all, should not be ignored. Let your end of year festivities start here.
